Docents engage and inform the community about the Museum’s collections and special exhibitions. Docents create memorable experiences for our visitors and conduct tours for thousands of people each year. In addition to tours at the Museum, docents can also share their knowledge through presentations at various community organizations.
Travelers are trained youth museum volunteers, between the ages of 14-18. Travelers assist in interpreting the rich history and culture of African American Marylanders by leading tours, creating programs and visiting different cultural locations while discussing relevant issues in today’s world.View More Information
