Reginald F. Lewis Museum High School Juried Art Contest
Are you interested in seeing your student’s art displayed at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum? Each year, the museum hosts a High School Juried Art Show that provides youth opportunities to display their works in the museum’s galleries. Finalists receive certificates of recognition and are invited to a special reception hosted at the museum. The top three honorees receive cash prizes and the winning artwork is showcased in Journeys, the museum’s newsmagazine. This program is in partnership with the Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) and the Maryland State Department of Education.
For submission guidelines and additional details contact the education department at 443-263-1829 or complete the Education Contest Inquiry Form.

Travelers Program
Students ages 14 and older can support the Reginald F. Lewis Museum by becoming a volunteer in the Travelers Program. Youth volunteers assist with public programs, events and activities throughout the year that serve the public. In the Travelers Program, they receive volunteer training to learn about Maryland African American history and the accomplishments of famous African Americans from this state. Service learning credit hours can be earned by high school students while volunteering at the museum. For more information on how to become a youth volunteer, click here Travelers.
