Community Quilting Party with Joan Gaither (For All Ages)
Help the museum create a community flag quilt with quilting artist Dr. Joan Gaither. Visitors will design quilt squares which will be incorporated into a community quilt to be displayed at the museum. All ages and experience levels welcome. The event commemorates the bicentennial of the Star-Spangled Banner flag, whose creator lived on the same block where the Reginald F. Lewis Museum sits today.
In conjunction with the exhibition For Whom It Stands. Included with museum admission.
