Kwanzaa Celebration 2012: And A Child Shall Lead Them

Description: 

Noon - 4 p.m.  The festival, led by children and community elders, includes an African Marketplace to peruse gift items, musical performances, craft activities, and a Kwanzaa ceremony with story-telling by the Growing Griots.

Schedule:

Noon – 4 p.m.  Craft Activities with “Little Builders”                         

12:30 p.m.        Film Presentations: The Griot’s Eye Program           

1:30 p.m.          Play: Bone Soup, A Kwanzaa Story by Culture Kingdom Kids          

2:30 pm.           African Dancing & Drumming Performances by Connexion Repertory Company and N-CHAT     

3:30 p.m.          Storytelling & Kwanzaa ceremony, featuring Growing Griots
