The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture relies heavily on donations from members, individuals, foundations and corporations. Your continued financial support keeps our doors open! There are a variety of ways to contribute:
The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture is excited to partner with the BMoreGivesMore campaign to help raise awareness and $5 million for local charities, today for #GivingTuesday.
Your gift to the annual fund helps the museum meet current and growing operating needs year after year!
The museum has two endowment opportunities: The Eddie C. and C. Sylvia Brown Family Foundation Challenge Grant to support general museum programs, and the National Endowment for the Humanities We the People Challenge Grant to support the museum’s signature interpretative education curriculum, An African American Journey created in conjunction with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
Various opportunities exist to support the museum’s programs, events and exhibitions. Sponsors receive special recognition on-site, as well as on related marketing and promotional materials.
Help build the endowment by making a charitable bequest in your will. A charitable bequest will allow you to leave a legacy that will be enjoyed by generations to come.
