As a member of the museum, you help support programs, special exhibitions, and events, as well as ensure that the museum remains an important source for African American history and culture. 

The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture is dedicated to the collection and preservation of artifacts, archival documents, and fine art that reflect the history and culture of African Americans in the State of Maryland. Since the opening of the museum, our permanent collection has grown significantly through donations of a wide range of exciting and inspiring materials.
